Three Weeks Old: Growing Fast!

Eyes are open, ears are waking up, and the wobbly-walk stage is in full swing. Personalities are starting to shine!

It’s an exciting week in the whelping box — the puppies are just over three weeks old and changing by the day. They’ve gone from sleepy little potatoes to curious explorers who can see, hear, and totter around on chubby legs. We’re getting our first play bows, tiny growls, and those irresistible puppy barks.

We’re introducing gentle, age‑appropriate socialization: new textures underfoot, short individual cuddles, calm household sounds, and a little bit of supervised floor time. The pups are beginning to notice one another more, practicing mouth‑softness and learning puppy manners from their littermates.

Everyone is gaining weight nicely and getting regular nail trims so nursing stays comfortable for mom. Lena is doing beautifully — patient and steady — and Norse still checks in with his signature Golden smile. We’ll begin offering a small taste of a mushy meal in the next week or so, but for now, milk is still the main course.

What’s next? In the coming days we’ll expand their space to include a clear sleep area and a small potty zone to kickstart clean habits. As balance improves, you’ll see more confident steps, more play, and more of those sweet, expressive faces. We can’t wait to share more photos soon.

If you’re considering a puppy, now’s a great time to submit an application or browse the litter. They’re already stealing hearts around here!
